Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Systems Security Engineer I (P1) to join our SSE team. The role focuses on protecting the Warfighter’s technology advantage through Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity, and software/firmware assurance for embedded weapon systems.

This onsite position involves collaborating with customers to define SSE requirements, developing plans and schedules, and guiding implementation while ensuring DoD release compliance. Join a highly-skilled team dedicated to national security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and less than 2 years of prior experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• Experience and/or coursework with System Security Engineering, Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity, Embedded Systems Security, Embedded Hardware, Embedded Software, Real-time Embedded Systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of SSE solutions in Raytheon products.
• Collaborate with customers to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, and implementation strategies.
• Develop plans, estimates, task execution schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Guide SSE implementations and architectures for customer systems.
• Conduct attack threat modeling and CPI assessments.
• Develop top-level system requirements and flow those into subsystem concepts.
• Ensure compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies.
