Job summary

Northrop Grumman is offering an internship opportunity in Mission Systems for students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. You will design and develop digital logic for cutting‑edge mission solutions, participating in full lifecycle design, from simulation to hardware integration.

Qualifications

• Be a student enrolled full-time in Fall2027 from an accredited college/university.
• Majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related STEM field.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop digital logic for advanced mission solutions.
• Gain hands-on experience with the programmable logic full life cycle: design, simulation, implementation, verification, and system integration.
• Implement and debug designs in simulations and on real hardware.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to address design challenges and learn best practices.
• Engage in a full life-cycle approach—design, implementation, test verification, production of digital electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
