Northrop Grumman is seeking S/W Embedded Engineering Interns for an internship located in Sykesville, MD. Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time as a student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree and will be enrolled in Fall 2027.
• Be majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related STEM field.
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop digital logic for advanced mission solutions.
• Gain hands-on exposure to the programmable logic full life cycle: design, simulation, implementation, verification, and system integration.
• Implement and debug designs in simulations and on real hardware.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to solve design challenges and learn best practices.
• Engage in a full life-cycle approach—design, implementation, test verification, production of digital electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
