Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to contribute to a high-performance storage AI module for aerospace applications. You will work at the firmware level—BIOS/UEFI, bootloaders, BSPs—to enable Linux-based OS and PaaS functionality on heterogeneous hardware (x86, ARM, accelerators).

Responsibilities include porting GMSL3 drivers, configuring Linux kernel modules, and BSP/board Bring-Up on target hardware.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Linux kernel boot flow and minimal hardware init.
• Experience with BSP development for x86 architectures.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded debugging.
• Familiarity with hardware bring-up using JTAG, serial console, and oscilloscopes.
• Experience with storage devices (eMMC, NVMe, SATA) and root filesystem setup.

Responsibilities

• Port and configure GMSL3 drivers and utilities.
• Configure Linux kernel modules for platform.
• Develop and integrate Board Support Packages for x86 platforms.
• Perform board bring-up, validation, and debugging on target hardware.
• Port and configure kernel/device-tree for new boards.
• Provide training, knowledge transfer, and documentation.
