CS Group US is seeking an Embedded Systems Expert to lead architecture and execution of safety-critical airborne systems. The role covers requirements development, architecture, implementation, integration, verification, validation, and certification.
The ideal candidate will have 12+ years in embedded software and strong DO-178C experience, with a track record in RTES/RTOS, systems engineering, and technical leadership. Travel up to 2–6 weeks/year is expected.
We are seeking an Embedded Systems Expert with deep expertise in DO-178C and avionics software development to lead the architecture and execution of safety-critical airborne systems.
The ideal candidate will be capable of architecting a system from concept through certification, with extensive experience in Real-Time Embedded Systems (RTES) and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) environments. This individual will provide technical leadership across the entire product lifecycle, including requirements development, architecture, implementation, integration, verification, validation, and certification.
Location: The role can be onsite (CT), hybrid, or fully remote.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
Strong experience in embedded software development.
Extensive hands‑on 12+ years of experience with DO-178C certification programs.
Strong understanding of:
Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.
U.S. citizenship is required. Dual citizenship should be disclosed.
Able to travel approximately two to six weeks in a year.
