Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop, debug and test embedded software for bare-metal, RTOS, and embedded Linux avionics systems. You will collaborate with system and hardware engineers to define architectures and deliver production-ready software and documentation.

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field
Minimum 4 years of embedded software development, testing, debugging (2 years with M.S.)
Proficiency in C, C++, and Python
Experience with Windows and Linux development environments
Experience with full software development life cycle for complex systems
Familiarity with version control tools (Git)

Responsibilities

Full lifecycle development and hands-on testing/debugging of embedded software (bare-metal, RTOS, embedded Linux)
Own software components and collaborate across projects
Design trade-studies and select architectures for space avionics systems
Work with project managers and engineering teams on budgets and schedules
Develop tools and documentation for embedded system usage and testing
