Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. in San Diego is seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop embedded software for space and national security applications.

You will work on ARM/PowerPC/x86 cores, Linux and RTOS environments, and collaborate with hardware engineers to implement interfaces and drivers.

The role requires 7+ years in embedded software, a BSEE/BSCE/BSCS, and a proactive, self-directed mindset.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with embedded systems.
• Experience with ARM, PowerPC, x86, TI-DSP, or 8051.
• Embedded Linux, VxWorks, and cross‑platform development tools.
• C/C++ and hardware‑software interfaces; strong debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop software components for Space Micro Inc.'s space products and associated radiation‑effects mitigation technologies.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to design hardware‑software interfaces and implement device drivers.
• Create software requirements, functional and design specifications, and testing plans.
