Job summary

Eccalon is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to own end-to-end lifecycle of embedded solutions, from concept through deployment, collaborating with Mechanical, Software, and Hardware teams to ensure seamless integration.

The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, debugging embedded firmware, and working with RTOS, cloud platforms, and version control. Join a multidisciplinary team delivering mission-critical products with strong emphasis on code quality and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Proficiency in C and/or C++.
• Experience with embedded systems development and troubleshooting.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Debugging and diagnostic skills; Understanding of hardware-software integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms, databases, and version control.
• Certifications such as CLED, CMfgE, or CAP.
• Experience with firmware development and PCB design processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded systems and firmware

• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and design patterns
• Integrate and validate new product designs
