Job summary

Peraton Labs, the research and development arm of Peraton, seeks an engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy embedded electronics and signal-processing systems for prototypes and field-ready platforms.

You will work in a small multi-disciplinary team, read and produce design documentation, use KiCad for schematics, run simulations, and guide junior staff. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required; onsite work five days a week when needed.

Qualifications

• BS: Electrical/EC/CS engineering with 5+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test experimental and production systems.
• Provide engineering oversight of junior staff.
• Test electronics, diagnose failures, and perform repairs.
• Develop and review design documentation: schematics, wiring, drawings, test plans.
• Develop embedded computing and signal processing designs and interfaces.
• Prepare design review materials for internal and external reviews.
