Job summary
RTX, Collins Aerospace, is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the SPS team in Fort Wayne, IN. You will work on system requirements, translate them into software requirements, and develop mission-critical software in a security-forward environment.
Requirements include embedded development experience, a SECRET clearance, US citizenship, and a STEM degree with 2+ years of experience. This is an onsite role with collaboration across high-performance teams.
Qualifications
- Embedded development experience.
- Experience with tool sets (Jira, Subversion/Git).
- Active SECRET clearance and US citizenship are required.
- Degree in STEM and 2+ years of relevant experience (or advanced degree).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on system requirements and software development for a large-scale program.
- Translate requirements into software requirements, UML/SysML models, and diagrams.
- Provide technical support to SBCDS team and resolve issues promptly.
- Develop and implement code to meet customer and certification standards.
- Integrate software into testing environments and ensure quality.
