Job summary

ChromoLogic LLC is seeking a builder who moves between schematics, firmware debugging, and bench work to turn concepts into working prototypes and production-ready products.

You’ll own the design from requirements through hardware, firmware, validation, and manufacturing support, collaborating across electronics, optics, sensors, and mechanical systems. Strong fundamentals and project ownership are valued.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 5+ years in embedded hardware, firmware, PCB design, and prototype development.
• Experience designing microcontroller-based electronics and writing C/C++ for resource-constrained systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into practical system architectures and production-ready electronic designs.
• Create schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or comparable EDA tools.
• Select components with performance, availability, reliability, manufacturability, board space, and cost in mind.
• Work closely with software, mechanical, optical, manufacturing, and product teams to make sound system-level tradeoffs.
• Develop, debug, and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++.
