Job summary
Metrea seeks a Software Engineer to join our team focused on state-of-the-art military communications and signals intelligence products. You'll develop, test, and debug software components for embedded systems and possibly desktop or service-based applications.
In a small, agile environment, you will work across Linux, Java, Python, and C/C++. Eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI clearance is required, with full-time hours in an office setting and benefits to support families and long-term security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of software development experience.
- Experience with Java, Python and C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Ability to learn complex concepts and solve difficult software problems.
- Experience with Linux environment and CI/CD practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software from requirements to delivered product.
- Analyze, design, and implement software subsystems from high-level requirements.
- Develop, test, and debug software components for embedded systems.
- Analyze and improve system performance as needed.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and best practices.
