Job summary

Metrea seeks a Software Engineer to join our EM&C group, developing embedded and systems software for state-of-the-art military communications and signals intelligence products. All teams operate in a small, agile environment with emphasis on reliable, secure software.

You will design, test, and debug software components for embedded systems, participating in code reviews and driving performance improvements in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in Java, Python and C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Ability to learn quickly and solve complex software problems.
• Experience with Linux environments and CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software from requirements phase to delivered product.
• Analyze, design, and implement software subsystems from high-level requirements.
• Develop, test, and debug software components for embedded systems.
• Analyze and improve system performance as needed.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and code quality.
