Job summary

CACI is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Embedded Systems in Maryland to join a team delivering embedded hardware for unmanned and autonomous platforms. The role spans system architecture, schematic design, PCB development, firmware integration, and board bring-up, with collaboration across software, mechanical, autonomy, and systems engineers.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Typically a BA/BS or equivalent experience with 3–6 years in related work.
• Experience designing embedded electronic systems: schematic, PCB, bring-up.
• Experience with microcontrollers, embedded processors, or SoCs and peripheral circuitry.
• Experience developing or integrating flight control hardware, avionics, robotics, or real-time embedded systems.
• Knowledge of embedded interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet).
• Experience in C/C++ firmware development and debugging with lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded electronic systems for unmanned, autonomous platforms and national security missions.
• Work across circuit design, embedded computing, flight control hardware, sensors, and imaging systems to prototyped hardware capabilities.
