This role focuses on practical software development tied directly to deployed hardware systems, onboard compute environments, sensors, autonomy stacks, and mission-critical operational capability.

Qualifications

• Strong embedded software development experience.
• Experience with C/C++, Linux-based embedded systems, and real-time environments.
• Familiarity with autonomy platforms, robotics, UAV systems, or edge compute environments preferred.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capability.
• Comfortable working closely with hardware teams.
• Practical engineering mindset with strong execution focus.
• Experience operating in fast-paced engineering environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for autonomous systems and operational hardware
• Support sensor integration, onboard compute systems, communications, and payload interfaces
• Work closely with hardware and systems engineering teams during development and testing
• Optimize software performance, reliability, and operational stability
• Support field testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities
• Assist with autonomy integration and mission system development
• Contribute to rapid prototyping and iterative engineering cycles
