Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to support autonomous vehicle and robotics programs with ASI, working on embedded real-time software for unmanned robotic platforms.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain software for vehicle control, perception sensors, and communication with hardware subsystems, across a cross-functional team of engineers, with a focus on reliability and performance in mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline; Masters preferred.
• 7+ years of professional embedded real-time software development in C/C++.
• Experience designing multi-threaded embedded apps on RTOS.
• Familiarity with testing, simulation, and version control practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for autonomous robotic platforms.
• Participate in requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, testing, integration, and support.
• Develop features for vehicle control, perception sensors, and actuators.
• Diagnose and fix defects; support fielded systems.
• Collaborate with systems engineering for hardware-software integration.
• Apply best practices: unit/integration testing, refactoring, design patterns.
