Job summary

Securitas Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the Centralized Services team. You will coordinate national projects, configure security systems, and assist field technicians across time zones.

The role focuses on Lenel/C-Cure programming, access control, video integration, and IT/.network coordination. Strong certification and autonomous work style are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Lenel certification and 2+ years programming experience preferred
• Experience with access control, video or intrusion systems is desirable

Responsibilities

• Program support of Lenel, C-Cure and other card access software across US/Canada.
• Collaborate with field technicians to troubleshoot, document and commission security equipment.
• Manage security projects from concept to design, implementation and close out.
• Configure and support security systems including databases, software, operating systems and reports.

Due to the continued rapid growth of our Electronic Security group, we are currently seeking a Systems Administrator to assist with day-to-day operations of our Centralized Services team.
System Administrator's satisfy customer requirements through the coordination of National Projects across all time zones. Administrators will support numerous initiatives throughout the Centralized Services business.

Essential Functions

• Programming support of Lenel, C-Cure and other card access software to support 5,000+ sites in the US and Canada.
• Work with field technicians to troubleshoot, document and commission new/existing security equipment.
• Manage security projects from concept to design, implementation and close out.
• Configure and support security systems, including Database(s), Application Software, Operating Systems, Features, Functionality, Reports, Badges, Biometrics and other functions.
• Assist and advise field technical personnel on specific system response and operational theory.
• Coordinate and assist other departments necessary to maintain access control systems: Badging Team, Network Team, IT Services/Hardware, Server Support, Budgets, Projects, Operations and others.
• Support the IT functionality through close coordination with both internal and external IT/Network providers.
• Support of video, intercom, panic and other security systems.
• Perform monthly and regularly scheduled maintenance for Windows and other updates/firmware.
• Use of remote desktop and other support software to connect to remote hardware.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Field Technician background
• Programming experience in access control, video, or intrusion
• Manufactures certifications in Lenel, Software House, Avigilon or other security systems.
• IT experience with PC support, networking, server, cloud and or coding work
  

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Lenel software certification and 2 years+ programming experience
• Highly motivated
• Ability to act in an autonomous role with little supervision
• The position requires advanced computer skills with PC hardware, software, networking, databases, servers, basic coding and cloud computing.
