Amazon's eero hardware team in San Francisco seeks a System Electrical Engineer to design, implement, debug, and characterize embedded systems for wired and wireless networking. You may own electrical sub-systems from low-speed digital logic to high-speed interfaces, collaborating with RF/antenna and mechanical engineers to ensure placement, thermal management, and reliability.

You will drive PCB design, component selection, bring-up, and hardware test planning, while supporting manufacturing

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with hardware lab equipment such as digital scopes, logic analyzers, and soldering tools.
• 4+ years of board-level design, component selection, bring-up, and prototyping.
• Proficiency in PCB design, including schematic capture, stack-up selection and PCB layout oversight.
• Knowledge of best practices for high-speed circuit boards and embedded systems.
• Experience testing hardware sub-systems and components, research and data analysis skills.

• Evaluate and select electronic components based on system requirements
• Develop and review board schematics
• Review and optimize board layouts for signal and power integrity
• Perform bring-up of new board designs
• Develop hardware test plans and automation scripts for engineering and manufacturing tests
• Participate in the process of taking eero’s hardware from the prototype stage to mass production
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing during the NPI process
