Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC, through its eero hardware team, seeks a System Electrical Engineer to design, debug, and characterize embedded systems for wired and wireless networking. You may own electrical sub-systems and work with RF, antenna and mechanical engineers to ensure reliable, high-performance devices.

The role involves component selection, board schematics, layout optimization for signal and power integrity, and bring-up. You will support manufacturing during NPIs and product ramp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical or computer engineering.
• Experience with hardware lab equipment such as scopes and soldering tools.
• 4+ years of board-level design, component selection, bring-up, and prototyping.
• PCB design proficiency including schematic capture and layout oversight.
• Knowledge of high-speed circuit boards and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select electronic components based on system requirements.
• Develop and review board schematics.
• Review and optimize board layouts for signal and power integrity.
• Perform bring-up of new board designs.
• Develop hardware test plans and automation scripts for tests.
• Support mass production during the transition from prototype to production.
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing during the NPI process.
