Job summary

L3Harris Space and Airborne Systems in Wilmington, MA is seeking an Embedded Software Integration Engineer to join a team developing flight software for space imaging payloads. You will design and implement algorithms, run HIL/SIL validation, and contribute across the full software lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, refine requirements, develop test plans, and leverage COSMOS, LabVIEW, MATLAB, and Simulink. U.S. security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Embedded systems integration and test experience (software/hardware).
• 2+ years experience with C/C++, Python, Linux, RTOS.
• Hands-on experience with HIL/SIL and Agile development.

Responsibilities

• Lead embedded software development and EGSE solutions.
• Refine requirements, create user stories, and drive designs in Agile.
• Develop software for aerospace subsystems using HIL/SIL.
• Architect automated infrastructure for space payloads.
• Design and execute test plans with full traceability.
• Document multi-device hardware/software under test.
• Work with flight hardware, EGSE, and imaging tech.
• Utilize COSMOS, Ruby, LabVIEW, TestStand, MATLAB, Simulink; Jira/Bitbucket/Jenkins/Confluence.
• Maintain ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
