Job summary

Harris Geospatial Solutions is looking for a Lead Embedded Software Engineer in Wilmington, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing embedded flight software for space-based applications and will provide technical leadership to junior engineers.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering or related field, at least 9 years of experience in embedded software development, and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance. A competitive salary range of $135,000 - $250,500 is offered along with a sign-on bonus up to $30K.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• 7+ years experience in embedded software development, system design, debugging, and integration on aerospace products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded C++ software on the Linux operating system.
• Develop software that interfaces directly with hardware and manage resources for performance.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers in embedded software development.
