Leonardo DRS in Danbury, CT seeks a Software Verification Engineer to verify and test complex power conversion system software, from programmable relays to large drives and multi-megawatt cabinets with voltages up to 15kV. You will drive software requirements analysis, develop manual and automated verification procedures, and support validation of large embedded subsystems in an Agile environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience with embedded systems and real-time software.
• Proficient in Python and C/C++.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development and stand-ups.
• Strong cross-disciplinary coordination and communication.
• Ability to develop reusable unit and requirements-based tests.
• Experience with configuration management and DO-178/DO-254 knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Drive analysis of customer requirements and develop internal software requirements for verification.
• Support development of manual and automated verification procedures for full requirements coverage.
• Support validation of large embedded software subsystems.
• Collect, summarize, and present test results to stakeholders.
• Coordinate software test activities for small and large teams.
• Use Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• Provide configuration management and maintain test procedures.
• Participate in process improvements for the software lifecycle.
