Job summary

Knowmadics is seeking an Embedded Software & Verification Engineer III to design, implement, and test firmware for our electronics products. The role balances firmware development with building automated test environments to verify system reliability, collaborating with hardware and software teams to bridge code development and product release.

Qualifications include 3–6 years of embedded software experience, strong C/C++, RTOS and bare-metal skills, and familiarity with I2C/SPI/UART/CAN/USB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 3 to 6 years of embedded software development and software verification experience.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, RTOS, and bare-metal programming.
• Experience with I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, or USB protocols.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Python scripts, Unity, Ceedling).

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers and processors.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts and HIL environments.
• Perform verification, validation, and regression testing per specs.
• Debug software-hardware integration with lab equipment.
• Participate in code reviews and firmware architecture discussions.
• Collaborate to improve testability, traceability, and reliability across lifecycle.
