Job summary

Insulet in Acton, MA seeks a self-motivated co-op for embedded software test engineering, combining manual and automated test activities for medical device software across platforms. You will design and execute tests while collaborating with QA teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

You'll develop test plans, perform diverse testing, and contribute to documentation and test automation, working within an R&D environment and Agile processes during the internship.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Preferred skills include Python and test automation tools.
• Knowledge of embedded systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manual and automated test cases for embedded software.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, stress, and reliability testing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality benchmarks.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, procedures, and results.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.
