Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Test Automation Engineer to develop and validate software for engine control systems. You will create and execute automated tests and SIL tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust embedded solutions.

The role requires hands-on C/C++ programming, model-based development, and experience with test automation. Authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of embedded software development and testing experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and validate embedded software applications.


• Perform software integration, testing, and debugging.


• Create and execute automated test scripts and SIL tests.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.


• 2+ years of experience in embedded software development and testing.


• Hands-on experience with C/C++ programming and model-based development.


• Experience with software integration, validation, and automated testing is preferred.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Embedded software development using C/C++ .


• Model-Based Development (MBD) tools and methodologies.


• Software integration, debugging, and validation.


• Automated testing and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing.


• Embedded systems and engine/electronic control systems knowledge.


• Version control and software build tools.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based design tools.


• Knowledge of engine control systems and embedded controllers.


• Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting.


• Familiarity with software configuration management and version control tools.


• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Effective communication and teamwork in a cross-functional environment.
