You will mentor 4–6 engineers, drive design commitments, and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and controls teams to implement robust software for hardware interfaces and testing frameworks, while coding in C++ and Python under Linux.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of technical experience in a similar embedded software design role.
• Proficiency in C++ (low-level and OO concepts) and Python under Linux.
• Familiarity with Linux, GNU tool chain, and OS concepts.
• Experience with inter-process communication, networking, and hardware debugging.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 4–6 person team, balancing mentorship with hands-on coding.
• Develop/debug in C++ and Python for bare-metal and embedded Linux targets.
• Collaborate across software, electrical, mechanical, and control engineers.
• Support design bring-up, lab tests, and hardware debugging.
• Produce clear technical documents and reports in English.
