Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer in Boise, Idaho to design and implement embedded software for advanced memory testers. You will develop in C, C++, Bash, and Python across bare metal and Linux environments, and work closely with hardware and software engineers to bring complex equipment from concept to operation.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
4+ years embedded software tightly coupled to hardware.
Strong proficiency in C and C++.
Ability to read schematics and trace interfaces during debug.
Hands-on experience with lab equipment to debug real systems.

Responsibilities

Design and develop embedded software for memory tester equipment across software, electrical, control, and mechanical teams.
Develop/Debug in C, C++ for embedded environments and Python for hardware interfaces.
Use lab equipment and schematics for bring-up and testing.
Collaborate with globally distributed team members.
