Job summary

Rivian is seeking student interns to develop embedded software for the next generation Rivian autonomy platform. You will work on C code, Zephyr RTOS device drivers, and Python tests in a real-time environment. Onsite, full-time spring coop in Palo Alto, CA.

Eligible candidates are undergrad/grad students in CS/CE/EE with active enrollment and a graduation window through 2029. No visa sponsorship. Benefits include vacation, sick leave, and medical insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree at an accredited university.
• Actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Implement and modify embedded software in C.
• Develop and modify device drivers for Zephyr RTOS.
• Develop Python-based test scripts to validate changes.
• Incorporate functional safety requirements for embedded software.
