Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Engineer Sr for the Missiles and Fire Control team in Texas. The role focuses on developing and integrating software for real-time embedded systems across aerospace and defense programs. You will work on real-time embedded software, hardware-in-the-loop environments, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams in a large global defense contractor setting.
Designs, develops, operates, and maintains software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering, scientific, and manufacturing requirements. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and products such as laboratory simulation systems, airplane flight control and display systems, avionics, mechanical and electrical systems, weapons armament, commercial and military aircraft systems, mobile and ground-based defense systems, space systems, and other systems and applications of this nature. Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and integrating software solutions for real-time embedded systems, including hardware in the loop (HWIL) environments.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - Must have a Final Secret Security Clearance.
Ability to physically come on site in Dallas and work in labs to support integration
Experience with low level software development /device drivers
Experience working in cross-discipline/cross-functional teams
MS or greater in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field
Full software development life cycle experience
Git, Gitlab, JIRA
VxWorks experience
Agile experience (scrum)
Experience integrating closed loop systems
Experience with automated testing frame works as well unit testing
Full-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00
