Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for Vehicle Integration System (VIS) in Dearborn, MI. You will design and implement cloud-native and desktop applications to configure and integrate aftermarket equipment with production vehicles.

You will work across software, hardware, telematics, and validation teams, leveraging Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud. Hybrid work in-office several days per week is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of Java/Spring Boot experience.
• 3–5 years Node.js / React experience.
• 3–5 years PostgreSQL experience.
• 3–5 years embedded software with automotive domain.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native and desktop VIS configuration tools.
• Architect microservices and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with vehicle engineers, telematics, and suppliers on integration workflows.
