Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prove, and document embedded software products and solutions.
• Review and provide effort estimates for team tasks.
• Decompose team tasks into specific work items for development periods.
• Assess risk and priority to balance tasks for maximum team success.
• Mentor software developers, engineers, and interns when needed.
• Review code and unit tests of team members.
• Provide product definition and high-level design support for software products.
• Decompose high-level business requirements into component requirements.
• Foster teamwork across software, hardware, mechanical, and QA groups.
• Travel to customer engineering centers as needed; minimal overseas travel.
