Job summary

Sidus Space is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, debug, test, and implement embedded software in C/C++ for aerospace hardware. This 100% onsite role in Cape Canaveral requires collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team and strong drivers for reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field and 3+ years in embedded software, with experience in I2C/SPI/UART/CAN, Linux userspace/kernel, and cross-compilation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 3+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong C/C++ proficiency with modern embedded practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and firmware in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Write bare-metal and driver code for I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, GPIO.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on architecture and reviews.
• Support testing, deployment, and field updates.
• Follow Quality Management Systems and maintain code quality.
• Onsite work in Cape Canaveral, FL.
