Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or similar field).
• 5 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience with C and assembly programming.
• Strong understanding of real-time embedded systems and low-level firmware.
• Experience with 8- and 16-bit embedded programming.
• Experience with Atmel and Texas Instruments microcontroller families.
• Experience with electronics laboratory equipment and protocol analyzers.
• Reading electrical schematics.
• Experience with Windows and Linux.
• Exposure to aerospace standards such as DO-178B/C is preferred.
• Understanding of Software Configuration Management practices and tools, e.g., Git.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software for power supply control.
• Test software on development hardware and in production.
• Participate in design reviews and technical assessments.
• Develop and maintain software documentation and tools.
• Read and design digital circuits using CAD tools (Altium preferred).
• Troubleshoot and resolve software challenges in production.
• Collaborate with project leaders and cross-functional teams.
