Qualifications

• 5–6 years of professional C/C++ development, preferably in embedded or real-time contexts.
• 1–2 years of software verification experience, including test plans and verification matrices.
• Active Full-Secret security clearance.
• Proficient in modern C++ (C++14/17/20) and C; strong debugging with hardware tools.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and maintain modern C++ code for secure processing applications.
• Develop and sustain legacy codebases across projects; implement low-level C/C++ for bare-metal/RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, VxWorks).
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with microcontrollers, ASICs, and FPGA subsystems; produce firmware and drivers.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI); use CMake/Make; script with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Enforce coding standards (MISRA C/C++, C++ Core Guidelines); conduct peer reviews; perform unit testing (GoogleTest) and maintain test suites.
