Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. seeks an Embedded Software Engineer in Owego, NY to design, develop, test, and maintain secure, mission-critical embedded software for secure processing platforms.

Responsibilities include developing modern C++ on bare-metal/RTOS, integrating with hardware, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Requires 5–6 years in embedded C/C++, active Full-Secret clearance, and onsite work in Owego, NY.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of professional C/C++ embedded or RTOS experience.
• Active Full-Security clearance (Full-Secret).
• Proficient in modern C++ (C++14/17/20) and C with debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure processing and embedded software.
• Write and debug modern C++ code for secure applications.
• Integrate software with microcontrollers, ASICs, FPGA subsystems.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab CI; use CMake/Make.
• Adhere to MISRA C/C++, GoogleTest; participate in code reviews.
