Job summary
PURVIS is seeking a Software Developer to join our team in Newport, RI. The role involves collaborating with a team of developers on integrated standalone applications in a Linux environment using Agile development methodologies.
Responsibilities include requirements analysis, design and development, and modifying existing software to adapt to new hardware or improve performance. The ideal candidate will have a BS in CS/CE and 2–4 years of software engineering experience, with Qt experience
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Engineering, CS, or equivalent technical degree.
- 2–4 years in software engineering, including requirements analysis, design and development.
- Experience with Qt Framework and GUI development is a plus.
- Ability to modify existing software for new hardware and performance improvements.
- Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies and Atlassian tools.
- Ability to write software requirements and design documentation.
- Security clearance to SECRET level.

- Collaborate with team members on software tasks and tickets.
