Job summary
Odyssey Information Services is seeking a Software Engineer to join our development team building specialized, secure technology for government and defense applications. This role focuses on application-level C++ development using the Qt framework; it is not an embedded or firmware position.
You will develop and maintain C++/Qt applications, create and improve GUIs, troubleshoot complex issues, participate in code reviews and testing, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable,
Qualifications
- 2–7 years of professional software development experience.
- Professional experience with the Qt framework.
- Strong object-oriented programming and design skills.
- Experience with multithreaded applications and strong debugging abilities.
- No active security clearance required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain application-level software using C++ and Qt.
- Build and enhance graphical user interfaces and application functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
- Participate in software design, code reviews, testing, and integration.
