Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a skilled GUI software engineer to join our da Vinci product family. You will develop world-class digital interfaces for robotic systems, focusing on embedded C/C++ and Qt, and collaborating with designers to deliver polished, reliable software.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in GUI development, strong OO C/C++, and experience across design, implementation, debugging, and maintenance.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of relevantexperience and a Bachelor’s degree; or 6years of experience and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience
Experience with GUI development frameworks such as Qt
Fluent in object-oriented programming using C/C++
Experience developing and supporting digital interfaces
Demonstrated experience in multiple phases of the product development lifecycle including design, implementation, debug, verification, and maintenance
Passionate for delivering the best possible experience to the user

Responsibilities

Develop world-class digital interfaces using Qt and embedded C/C++ for the da Vinci product line
Implement the visual language of the product in collaboration with designers
Contribute to system and software architecture with the engineering team
Explore new UI technologies and rapidly iterate on prototypes with mechanical/electrical engineers
