Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Software Engineer – Precision Mining (Embedded Controls) to join our Pittsburgh, PA team onsite.

The role focuses on embedded controls for precision mining, leveraging C++, Linux, ROS, OpenCV, and AWS to design, develop, and validate software within a global engineering team. Strong collaboration and Agile practices are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field required, 2–4 years relevant exp.
• Master's degree with 1–2 years industry exp considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop precision mining features using embedded C++, Linux, and GitHub.
• Resolve issues via triage and troubleshooting.
• Work within an Agile Sprint environment.
• Develop validation plans.
• Coordinate with global teams for integration and testing.
• Collaborate in a culturally diverse group.
• Perform systems requirements decomposition, design, development, reviews, integration, and testing.
• Participate in design reviews and daily stand-ups in a 12–14 person global team.
