Diversified Services Network, Inc. in Mossville, IL, is seeking a full-time Embedded Software Engineer to work on remote control systems onsite. You will join a 7-8 person team developing robust features for embedded control and vision systems, interfacing with system engineers and global groups.

The role emphasizes Embedded C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink development, with a focus on V&V, integration, and functional safety. Collaboration and rapid learning are key in this onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field; 5–7 years in systems engineering and embedded software.
• 5+ years Embedded C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink; 5+ years embedded system development with RTOS.
• Proficient in CAN, Ethernet, embedded control systems; experience with V&V, architecture and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define system requirements, architecture, interfaces, and end-to-end traceability.
• Design, develop, integrate, and validate remote control systems across software, hardware, and networks.
• Develop and maintain embedded software using Embedded C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Perform system integration, verification & validation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Support functional safety, FMEA, product quality, and release activities.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with remote control system engineers and global teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
