Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement robust Linux-based embedded software for in-car video systems and body cameras. You will own the full software lifecycle from architecture and C++ development to unit testing, system maintenance, and code reuse across production hardware within an Agile team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of C++ development with Linux-based embedded systems.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/CE or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with low-level systems incl. Bare Metal C, Linux Kernel drivers, device trees, Yocto.

Responsibilities

• Architect, code, and maintain embedded software using modern C++.
• Define interfaces, integrate vendor APIs/SDKs, debug system-level issues on hardware.
• Prepare unit and system tests, participate in sprint deliverables in Agile.
• Utilize multi-stage CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and release.
