Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP in Sunnyvale, California is seeking a talented Software Engineer - Embedded (RIS) to join the Platform Software Team on a hybrid schedule, averaging 2 days per week in an HPE office.

You will design, implement, and maintain infrastructure software such as routing engine features, diagnostics tools, and chassis operations; collaborate with test teams and provide engineering support for critical deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, or related field with 4 years’ experience.
• Minimum 2 years in C programming and 2 years in C++.
• Strong Linux experience and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain platform infrastructure software components.
• Develop diagnostics tools to ensure router reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with test teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
