Teradyne IST Software team is seeking a motivated Embedded Software Engineer to develop software for cutting-edge test platforms. You will design, implement, and maintain software that interfaces with hardware and OS components, delivering robust APIs for higher-level applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (CS/EE/CE).
Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded and system-level apps.
Experience with Linux-based development and user-space apps, drivers, bootloaders.
Experience with debugging complex HW/SW integration and multithreading.
Familiarity with embedded interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, PCIe).
Experience applying AI-assisted tools to software engineering.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software in C/C++ for Linux-based and embedded systems.
Debug and optimize hardware/software integration across system components.
Contribute to software quality and engineering efficiency with modern practices and AI-assisted tools.
