Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a Senior or Principal Embedded Software Engineer to design and develop embedded software for space-based systems in San Diego, CA. This hands-on, on-site role focuses on real-time, high-reliability applications.

The ideal candidate will work with C/C++, Python, BSPs, kernels, and drivers, and have strong VxWorks or Embedded Linux experience, including debugging with lab tools and emulators. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Extensive embedded software development experience in aerospace.
• Proficient in C/C++, Python, BSPs, kernels and drivers.
• Strong experience with VxWorks, Embedded Linux or bare-metal systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, and test embedded software for aerospace products.
• Develop and debug bootloaders, BSPs, kernels, and device drivers for VxWorks, Embedded Linux, RTOS environments.
