Safran, a leader in Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing technologies, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in a hybrid role (minimum 3 days in office) at our West Henrietta, NY site. You will join our product development team building and enhancing timing solutions for flagship products.

The role emphasizes embedded software development, collaboration with international teams, and a strong Linux/Git background.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Experience with embedded systems and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for our flagship timeserver products.
• Design and implement new features and improve performance.
• Troubleshoot defects, identify root causes, and propose fixes.
• Collaborate with product management to address customer requirements.
• Participate in peer code reviews and work with senior engineers.
