Job summary

Safran Trusted 4D, Inc. in West Henrietta, NY invites Spring 2027 interns enrolled in a four-year or postgraduate program to join our engineering teams.

You will design, develop, and test GPS-based time synchronization hardware and software, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on next-gen PNT solutions. Ideal candidates study Electrical, Computer, or Communications fields and have exposure to embedded Linux, C, Python, or related languages.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year or higher degree in a related field.
• Embedded Linux software development experience beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance features on GPS-based PNT time synchronization equipment and software.
• Code in embedded Linux using C, PHP, Python, HDL, Golang as applicable.
• Test products, features, and releases to meet high standards and specs.
• Create test procedures, fixtures, and write test reports and recommendations.
• Analyze and debug problem reports and design fixes.
• Collaborate in a global, cross-functional team toward shared goals.

We're looking for talented Interns to join our team for the Spring 2027 semester in West Henrietta, NY!

What You'll Be Doing

• Working closely with our Engineering Team, you will be designing, developing, and enhancing product features on the latest GPS-based and alternative PNT time synchronization equipment and software.
• Coding software in our embedded Linux stack using languages such as C, PHP, python, HDL, golang (per your experience)
• Testing new products, new features and software releases to ensure our products meet the highest standards and specifications.
• Devising test procedures, experiments, test fixtures and software; performing those tests, analyzing the results and generating comprehensive test reports and recommendations.
• Analyzing and debugging problem reports and designing fixes
• Working in a global multi-discipline, multi-cultural environment with cross-functional teams toward a common design goal.
