Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience delivering software for ground vehicle or aerospace systems.
• Experience owning full software cycle: requirements, code, tests, and integration.
• Experience with Python, Linux (RHEL/ Rocky), KVM and VMware.
• Desirable: GitLab-based workflows.
• Desirable: Windows and Linux cross-platform software.
• Desirable: security, safety, and human factors engineering requirements.
• Desirable: IP Networking/VLANs.
• Desirable: DoD acquisition standards and software development regulations.
• Proficiency in embedded software, RTOS, and toolchains.
• Experience leading digital engineering MBSE/tool deployment.
• Strong analytical and clear technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop critical software deliverables for Milestone Reviews and Software CDRLs.
• Participate in Software Interface Control Working Groups with HDUSA and customers.
• Support Software Safety implementation with the System Safety team.
• Assist integration of software from HDUSA and suppliers into SIL.
• Implement systems-security engineering with the platform cyber team.
• Implement software system-level fire control interfaces and specs.
• Contribute to verification and validation planning and tests.
• Attend technical meetings with government, contractors, and partners.
• Identify technical risks and assist mitigation planning.
• Travel to customer sites and test ranges as required.
