Job summary

Arete Associates in Healdsburg, CA is seeking a Software Engineer to develop features and fix bugs for gimbal sensor systems. The role involves testing with embedded processors and collaborating with a small cross-functional software and hardware team to meet critical deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science required.
• C++ and embedded development experience.
• Collaborative experience with Scrum.
• Familiarity with Linux command line & OS fundamentals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement features, and resolve bugs for gimbal sensor systems.
• Conduct system testing using embedded processors and test equipment.
• Participate in Scrum meetings and agile development cycles.
• Collaborate with a small cross-functional software and hardware team to meet deadlines.
