Arete Associates is seeking a Software Engineer to develop features and fix bugs for gimbal sensor systems. You will test with embedded processors and boards, participate in Scrum, and work closely with a compact software/hardware team to meet critical deadlines.

This on-site role is based in Healdsburg, CA and is full-time and exempt. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering or CS, solid C++ and embedded experience, Linux familiarity, and the ability to manage multiple projects with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
C++ and embedded development experience.
Collaborative team experience (Scrum).
Familiarity with Linux command line and OS fundamentals.
Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

Develop and implement features and fix bugs for gimbal sensor systems.
Conduct system testing using embedded processors, circuit boards and test equipment.
Participate in Scrum meetings and contribute to agile development cycles.
Collaborate with a small cross-functional software and hardware team to meet deadlines.
