Job summary

Productive Resources is seeking an HVC embedded software engineer to join our engineering team at a customer facility in Urbandale, IA. This full-time role focuses on developing embedded software solutions for HVC machines, displays, controllers, and related systems.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into production-ready software, employing C/C++, embedded C, Lua, QML, and MATLAB/Simulink.

Qualifications

3 years in cross-platform development and systems integration.
Experience with TDP/PDP discovery and related projects is required.
Proven collaboration with customers and partners on software solutions.
Experience in Linux and embedded C/C++ with UI tech (Lua, QML).
Familiarity with GitHub, JSON, Protobuf, and data/operations tools.

Responsibilities

Develop, integrate, test, and maintain embedded software for HVC machines and controllers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into production-ready software.
Implement and troubleshoot in C/C++, embedded C, Lua, QML; use MATLAB/Simulink where needed.
Support software integration across sensors, displays, and machine systems; perform testing and debugging.
Engage with customers and partners to develop and deploy software solutions.
